After 2 terms of fantastic success term 3 was just as exceptional for TES sports teams. In ISACK the U13 boys volleyball team and the U13 girls basketball team both made it through to the final. The girls played BSK in a super final and were victorious 28-20. The boys played KES in an equally superb final and triumphed 2 sets to 0 to end an unbelievable U13 year of sporting success. In KFSAC the teams continued their phenomenal year winning the Y5/6 boys basketball and Y5/6 cricket tournaments and finishing runners up in the Y5/6 girls basketball tournament. The results in term 3 mean that TES have once again won the overall KFSAC competition for the 4th year running. A fabulous achievement and an exceptional year of sporting success.

End of Year Sports Summary and Round Up
Wow, what a fantastic year of sport for TES. It truly has been magnificent and we could not have imagined having so much success. TES have reigned supreme in all age categories and in all competitions at ISACK, KFSAC and BSME level. The pupils have done the school proud and the school teams have set many records throughout the year.
In ISACK (U13 age group) the teams made 5 out of the 6 major finals winning all 5 of the finals. In the tournaments that take place TES won the girls table tennis, girls football, boys swimming and boys 5 a side football. Finishing 2nd in the girls swimming and boys table tennis. The only competition TES did not finish in the top 2 positions was the U13 boys football losing in extra time in the semi final. Add to this the U13 BSME triumphs, it has been an outstanding year of success and the best year that TES has ever had at U13 age. It is also a record for any team at ISACK at this age group.
In KFSAC the school teams have reigned supreme. Out of 17 events the TES teams won 10, came 2nd in 3 events, 3rd in 3 events and 4th in 1 event scoring a huge 83 points which is a KFSAC record. TES finished 21 points ahead of 2nd placed NES (62) and 39 points ahead of KES (44) who finished 3rd. A marvellous achievement. Again as with the U13 age group add the U11 BSME success to this and it has been an unbelievable year of sport.
At BSME level TES have had a wonderful year. The U13’s triumphed in January with wins in basketball, netball and athletics against 12 of the top British schools in the Middle East. The U11’s triumphed in March with wins in basketball, netball and football against 9 of the top British schools in the Middle East. In late March TES swimmers took part in the BSME Swimming Championships in Muscat, performing exceptionally well. These achievements are huge and we should not underestimate the magnitude of this success for TES.

It has been a magnificent year of sport at TES, in all the school have won 25 competitions out of 39 entered, if the overall trophies for KFSAC, BSME U13 and BSME U11 are added to this it is a haul of 28 competition wins. We have gained 38 trophies in all, this takes TES trophy haul well over 100 in the past 5 years! Well done to everybody who has represented the school as well as everyone who has taken part in a sports ECA. Thank you to all of the coaches who have taken a team and helped out with an ECA. Thank you for the hard work you continually put in to train the squads and further our success. It will be a very hard act to follow but lets hope 2015-2016 can be just as successful as 2014-2015. Well done everyone.
