After the Eid break the TES sports teams were back in action with fixtures in the ISACK netball and football leagues as well as the first KFSAC football fixtures of the year. It was a super week of results for TES who recorded victories over U13 age over TEA in netball and BSK in football and at U11 age over KNES in both the A and B games.
U13 Girls Netball
TES 41 - 2 TEA
The girls U13 netball team played their second game of the season against TEA on Tuesday. It was the girls first game of the season at home and the squad produced a fantastic performance. The attacking threat of Davina and Alex proved too much for TEA and both girls scored a huge number of goals consistently throughout the game. In defence the girls were equally strong. It was another super performance from the girls to give them a second victory of the season. Millie was named player of the match for her hard work and endeavour on court. Next week the girls take on ESF at home.
U13 Boys Football
TES 3 - 1 BSK
In the boys first game of the season they took on BSK. The game promised to be a tough encounter and included an ex TES player coming up against his former school. The game started as a cagey affair with both teams a little nervous and taking time to settle. However, after an even 10 minutes TES started to settle into the game and play some good football. After a couple of attacks, TES broke forward again and the ball came to Rami. He shifted the ball onto his left foot and from 20 yards let fly and the ball rifled into the back of the net. It was a terrific strike and really got the TES players motivated. TES continued to press forward and started to get on top of the game. Moments later Basil broke down the right wing after great work from Danny at full back. Basil cut into the box and squared the ball to Rami who fired home. At half time TES led 2-0. In the second half TES scored again to make it 3-0. After good work from Basil on the right, Rami’s shot hit the bar and bounced down onto the line. However, Max was on hand to follow up and put the ball into the back of the net. At this point TES were in control but minutes later BSK started to get back into the game with some strong attacking play. After a good advantage played by the referee the ball broke to a BSK midfielder who struck the ball home from 20 yards. BSK then attacked again and had a good spell for the next 10 minutes but couldn’t make their possession count and TES won the game 3-1. It was a super performance from the boys with Danny claiming the player of the match award. Next week TES play KES on Tuesday.
Y5/6 KFSAC Football
TES A 3 - 0 KNES A
TES B 2 – 1 KNES B

In a very one sided game the A squad comfortably beat KNES A team 3-0 with Sam 2 and Maxwell scoring the goals. In the B team game the boys played well and won the game 2-1 with goals from Jack and Warith. It is a great start to the season for the boys who are defending their league and cup double victory from last season. Next week the teams take on BSK.
