More Success for TES
U9 and U11 KFSAC Swimming Gala
On Wednesday 17th April the second KFSAC gala of the year took place at TES hosted by KES. A large number of parents turned out for the exciting event that included four age categories: U9 Girls, U9 Boys, U11 Girls and U11 Boys. The TES swimmers produced some excellent performances, finishing in the top three in most events. Overall TES came 3rd in the U9 Girls category and 1st place in the U9 Boys, U11 Girls and U11 Boys categories. This meant that TES were overall winners with KES in 2nd place and NES 3rd. The points for the second KFSAC gala were added to the points from the first KFSAC gala. TES already had a commanding lead from the first gala so with points combined the top four positions were as follows: 1st: TES 502 points, 2nd: KES 437 points, 3rd: NES 299 points 4th: GES 283 points.
This is the 4th year in a row that TES have won the KFSAC gala and puts the school out in the lead in the race for the overall KFSAC trophy. Well done to all of the swimmers involved.
ISACK Results
Girls Basketball
The girls took on KES in their 4th games of the season in the U13 ISACK girls basketball championship. In a very exciting game the scores remained close for the first 2 periods. However TES dominance began to show in the 3rd quarter and the game was taken away from KES through some excellent defending and clinical finishing. The game was eventually won by TES 28-19. The girls remain unbeaten after 4 games, having won all of their matches so far and now have a semi final tie at home secured. The girls take on BSK next week and also play their semi final next Wednesday.
Boys Volleyball
TES travelled to KES for their 4th game of the season in the U13 ISACK volleyball league knowing that a win would secure home advantage in the semi final next week. The boys played some composed volleyball and from the off always looked the better team. They comfortably took the 1st set 25-18 with some good serving, in particular from Brandon Jones. The second set was also very comfortable, TES winning 25-12 with Sam Watts serving well. TES now take on KES next Tuesday in the semi final at home for a place in the final on Tuesday 7th May.
