This week TES U13 boys football team took on TEA in an important match at Hasan Abul. The team started brightly and looked in determined mood. After constant pressure on the TEA goals and several near misses TES deservedly took the lead. From an Alex McEwan long throw Yousef Abul Enein bundled the ball into the goal. TES continued to pile the pressure onto the TEA defence and from another Alex McEwan throw Yousef Abul Enein volleyed a superb second goal to put TES 2-0 ahead. In the 2nd half the game continued in the same fashion and it was only a matter of time before TES scored again to make the game safe. Adam Gamali this time picked up a loose ball and slotted past the TEA goalkeeper to make the score 3-0. Ethan Doughty saw two fine strikes hit the woodwork late on as TES cruised to a 3-0 victory. This was a much improved performances from the boys with Yousef Abul Enein taking the man of the match award.

In the second set honours were much more even. TES battled hard but eventually lost out 25-23. It was a below par performance from TES who had suffered with injuries in the build up to the game and will hope to make amends against NES come the semi final stage.
