Kindergarten
In KG there are three classes, each with a teacher and a full time Learning Support Assistant. There are also three auxilliary assistants.
In KG the class teacher is responsible for pastoral care and the teaching of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
Children enter KG at 3 years of age, and will turn 4 during the academic year.
All KG classes have weekly swimming lessons taught by qualified swimming teachers. PE and Library are also part of a child’sweekly timetable.
In the early years from KG to Reception we plan daily teaching and learning activities that complement the children’s interests and developmental needs. Teaching and learning takes place both indoor and outdoor in our specially adapted learning environments.
