Safeguarding

Safeguarding is paramount at TES.

At TES, the wellbeing and safety of every student is our highest priority. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring that our school provides a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for all.

Our Commitment

We believe that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Every member of staff, from teachers to support staff, is trained regularly in safeguarding and child protection. We also ensure that parents, volunteers and visitors understand their role in maintaining the safety and wellbeing of our students.

Our policies and procedures adhere to international safeguarding standards. We maintain a culture of vigilance, where concerns are taken seriously and acted upon immediately.

Training and Awareness

All TES employees complete comprehensive safeguarding training as part of their induction and receive regular refresher courses throughout the year. The Safeguard Team is available across all sections of the school to provide guidance and support whenever concerns arise.

Safe Recruitment

We follow safer recruitment practices to ensure that all adults working with our students are suitable to do so. Background checks, reference verifications and child protection clearances are mandatory for all staff.

Our Safeguarding Culture

Safeguarding is not limited to policies — it is embedded in our daily practice. Students are taught about personal safety, wellbeing, and how to seek help when they need it. We promote respect, empathy and open communication to ensure every child feels safe, valued and heard.
