At TES, computing spans all year groups, beginning in KG by setting the foundations and learning key concepts, and continuing through Year 8.
Aligned with the National Curriculum for England, our curriculum covers Computer Science, Information Technology, and Digital Literacy, with a focus on cross-curricular links, embedding essential skills throughout various subjects. Emphasising our TES Learning Pillars of collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creative thinking, our approach prepares students to be responsible digital citizens.
With a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program in place from Year 3 upwards, students have opportunities to enhance and personalise their learning with their iPads, fostering digital fluency. Additionally, students have access to and can engage with cutting-edge technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) for design projects, which culminate in tangible creations through 3D printing.
Our commitment to innovation ensures that students are well-equipped for a future where technology will become even more prevalent in the emerging world.
