There are three classes in Year 5. The class teacher is responsible for pastoral care and for the teaching of English, mathematics, history, geography, Kuwait Social Studies and PSHEC (Personal, Social, Health, Education and Citizenship).
The children are taught art, design technology, French, computing, music, physical education and science by subject specialists. Arabic is taught to all children, with non-Arab children learning Arabic for foreigners. Islamic Studies for our Muslim children is taught separately to our Arab and non-Arab children.
There is the opportunity to set the pupils in mathematics if deemed appropriate. Timetables are available via the parent portal. Homework is set on a regular basis with a maximum of 30 minutes per night.
