Year 3 Curriculum Overview

There are three classes in Year 3. The class teacher is responsible for pastoral care and for the teaching of English, mathematics, history, geography, PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) and science. The children are taught art, design technology, ICT, music and physical education by subject specialists.

Arabic is taught to all children, with non-Arab children learning Arabic for foreigners. Islamic Studies for our Muslim children is taught separately to our Arab and non-Arab children in Year 3.

Children are setted by ability in mathematics. Timetables are available via the parent portal and Firefly. Homework is set on a regular basis with a maximum of 30 minutes per night.
