TES 64 - 3 ESF
This week TES played ESF in their final league game of the season. Going into the game the girls knew they were assured of first place in the table. However, the girls knew that a good performance against ESF would stand them in good stead for the semi final next week. The girls started the game in ruthless fashion and raced into a 14-0 lead after the first quarter. The scoring continued throughout the game and TES piled on the points, eventually winning the game 64-3. Due to the very one sided game it meant that all of the TES girls got plenty of game time and new girls in the squad Lynn and Layal both enjoyed their first appearances of the season. There were some terrific performances and the girls should be proud of the way they played. Since the loss of 4 key members of the squad the girls are now starting to gel together well. Next week TES play in the semi final. The game is at home and the opponents will be confirmed later this week.
Y5/6 Girls Netball KFSAC Friendlies
TES 13 – 1 TEA
TES 10 – 1 BSK
On Monday the year 5/6 KFSAC girls were in action again on the Netball court. The girls played BSK and TEA and came away with yet another 2 convincing wins. 10-1 and 13-1. All of the girls gave strong performances, particularly in the shooting circle. Riri and Tamara ensured they netted all of their shots, with Angelina also making her debut at goal shooter and securing a further 4 goals. Defensively, the TES girls made it extremely difficult for anyone to get past them and proved to be a strong force. After 4 games, the girls have scored 45 goals and have only conceded 4. Impressive stuff from the whole team. All 10 members should be proud of their performances so far!
