This week both the U13 boys Basketball and U13 girls Netball teams played in the ISACK finals of their respective competitions. Both teams played superbly well. The boys played some great basketball but unfortunately lost 25-30 to NES in a very entertaining and close game. However, the girls went one better and beat NES 10-9 after two periods of extra time. It is a great achievement for TES teams to both make the final and the boys and girls should be very proud of their success. Please read the extended ISACK finals report for a more detailed report on the finals.

Y5/6 Girls Unihoc Tournament
The Y5/6 girls Unihoc team took part in the annual KFSAC competition on Monday, 17th February held at NES. 11 schools took part in the competition. TES cruised through their group winning all of their games to qualify for the semi finals in top position. In the semi final the girls scored twice through Izzy Jones. However, both goals were disallowed and the game entered extra time at 0-0. Neither team could break the deadlock and the game was finally decided on a penalty shoot out. Unfortunately KES won the shoot out 2-1 which meant that TES would have to play off for 3rd/4th place. In the 3rd/4th place playoff TES played GES. The girls played very well but could not force a goal. The game went to extra time and then penalties. This time TES were successful in the shoot out and won to claim 3rd place. NES were 1st and KES 2nd.
Well done to all of the girls involved: Alex Davies (C), Izzy Jones, Davina Tuma, Aafiya Khan and Millie Smethurst.
Y5/6 Boys Unihoc Tournament
The Y5/6 boys Unihoc team competed in the annual KFSAC competition on Wednesday 19th February. 10 schools took part in the tournament which was held at ABS. The boys played excellent Unihoc and qualified for the semi finals with 4 group wins. In the semi final TES defeated KES and took on NES in the final. In a super game with both teams playing some exciting unihoc the teams could not be separated and the game went to extra time. NES scored during the extra time period and TES unfortunately could not equalise. The boys deserve great credit for the way they played and finishing in 2nd place is a super achievement.
Well done to all of the boys involved: Brian Al Saleh, Rayce Abal, Arhcie Pearson, Andreas Lambros, Ashlin Blackburn, Max Boesley, Jack Boesley and Basil Tuma.
