U13 5 a side Football Tournament
The U13 boys 5 a side football team participated in the annual tournament on Tuesday. The tournament was held at KES in very hot conditions. The boys played games against NES, ESF, TEA, KES and BSK in a round robin competition. After winning 4 of their 5 games and playing some terrific football the boys advanced into the final. In the final TES took on NES and in a tight affair the game went to penalties. Rami held his nerve and scored in the sudden death shoot out. The first NES player then stepped up and shot wide to hand TES the trophy. It was a super start to the sporting year for TES and the victory means TES defended their trophy from last year. Well done to the squad: Jack, Cameron, Evan, Max, Basil, Rami, Danny and Omar.
