The boys U13 basketball team played TEA on Tuesday in their first fixture of the third and final ISACK season. The boys started the game well and moved into an 8-2 lead. It was most of the squads first game and everyone was keen to show their skill and ability. Everyone contributed well to the performance and TES continued to stretch their lead throughout the game. At the end of the third quarter TES led 41-8. In the 4th quarter TES pressed the ball high up court making it very hard work for TEA to get out of their own half. The final score finished 55-12 to TES. It was an excellent game for the boys to get their season underway and the whole squad contributed extremely well, with Owain being named player of the match.
U13 Girls Volleyball
TES 2 - 1 TEA
The U13 Girls volleyball team played their first game of the season this week. The girls played TEA and nerves and anxieties were high.
Nevertheless, the girls’ hard work in training ensured victory. The girls lost the first set after being 12-0 up. But they saw the early loss as a
challenge and rose to it perfectly, winning the match in the end 2 sets to 1. Davina and Sydney were powerhouses with their serves, scoring 26 points between them; impressive stuff ! Next week, the girls are at home to BSK.
Well played girls - keep up the good work in training!
