U13 Football TES 4 v 1 NES
TES U13 boys football team played their 2nd game of the season against NES on Wednesday. The game was certainly a game of two halves, as the saying goes. NES played some good football in the first half and were the better side against a tired looking TES team. Mid way through the 1st half NES scored the opening goal after a counter attack from a TES corner. The game then became a scrappy affair with Yousef shooting wide for TES from a difficult angle and Rayce making a crucial save on the stroke of half time to keep the score at 1-0. However, after a stern talking to at half time, TES started the 2nd half in superb fashion. The boys started to win tackles all over the pitch and after a lot of pressure on the NES goal they finally got the equaliser. Rayce took a long kick out of his hands which bounced over the NES defence into the path of Yousef who smashed the ball into the net to make the score 1-1. Minutes later in a replica of the first goal Rayce again sent the ball long and Yousef chased the long ball to place the ball into the net to make the score 2-1 to TES. Then after a superb strike from Warner, which hit both posts, substitute Kareem was first to react to the rebound and he slotted home to great celebrations from the TES players. At 3-1 TES were in complete control and to make the game safe Warner struck a lovely finish into the bottom left hand corner for 4-1. All of the substitutes were able to get onto the field and it was an all round terrific 2nd half performance from the TES team. The team showed great character and desire to turn around the game. After the Eid break TES take on KES in their 3rd game of the season. Well done boys.

The B team also has a super victory playing some good football and winning the game 2-0 with Max scoring two cracking goals.
