Y5/6 KFSAC Girls Netball Tournament
Super girls win netball tournament for 5th consecutive year
The Year 5/6 girls return to TES victorious after the annual netball tournament that took place on Monday this week. Six out of six wins, only 3goals conceded throughout the entire tournament and 39 goals scored by the supreme shooting abilities of Riri and Tamara! The girls played extremely well and thoroughly deserved to lift the trophy, despite a couple of close games. After winning all of their games in the KFSAC friendly netball league the girls went into the competition as clear favourites. With 4 big wins the girls were always in control, but faced two tough games against TEA and NES, securing 2-1 wins in both games. The girls are now in the final stages of preparation for the U11 BSME Games and after the tournament win, will go to Dubai with a great deal of confidence. Josephine and Sienna today were players of the tournament, playing with determination and tenacity throughout. Well done to all of the girls, it was a true team effort and a fully deserved victory. Unbeaten this year-can the winning streak continue? Well done to: Sienna, Josefin, Tamara, Darcy, Riri, Zoha, Melanie, Poppy, Rachel and Angelina.
